Our volunteers are the "heart" of the House. They provide the "TLC" that truly makes the House a warm, loving retreat. Additional volunteers are recruited to help with some of our events. The House Manager arranges all interviews, conducts background checks, and incorporates volunteers into the daily House schedule.
Some of the tasks entrusted to House volunteers include helping families check in and out, giving tours, assisting in coordinating dinners, managing the wait list, taking calls and messages from hospitals, writing thank you letters, and other household and administrative duties.
